The 45-day rule

You can invest throughout the year.

The rule defines when you can withdraw that capital.

Each quarter has an initial 45-day window. If your deposit is approved within that period, you can request a withdrawal of that capital at the close of the same quarter. If it is approved later, the first close at which you can request it is the close of the following quarter.

The 45 days do not start counting from your deposit date.

Video in Spanish.

A window within each quarter.

At the start of each quarter there is a 45-day window. Days 1 through 45, inclusive, make up that window.

  1. Start of the quarter
  2. Days 1–45Window to request a withdrawal in the same quarter
  3. From day 46The first close at which you can request a withdrawal is the close of the following quarter
  4. Quarter close

Days 1–45

If the deposit is approved within this window, you can request a withdrawal of that capital at the close of the same quarter.

From day 46

If approval happens on day 46 or later, the first close at which you can request a withdrawal of that capital is the close of the following quarter.

The same logic applies four times a year.

  1. Q1 · JAN — MAR

    Window: Jan 1 → Feb 14

    Close: Mar 31

  2. Q2 · APR — JUN

    Window: Apr 1 → May 15

    Close: Jun 30

  3. Q3 · JUL — SEP

    Window: Jul 1 → Aug 14

    Close: Sep 30

  4. Q4 · OCT — DEC

    Window: Oct 1 → Nov 14

    Close: Dec 31

Dates follow the fund's official calendar, in Moscow time (UTC+3).

A concrete example.

In this Q4 example, an approval on or before day 45 and another on day 46 or later are tied to different closes.

Approved on Nov 14

Day 45 of Q4.
It is inside the window.

You can request a withdrawal at the Dec 31 close.

Approved on Nov 15

Day 46 of Q4.
It is outside the window.

The first close at which you can request a withdrawal is Mar 31 of the following year.

What counts is the effective approval of the deposit.

Counts

The effective approval date of the deposit.

Doesn't count

Sign-up · KYC · signature · transfer notice · deposit request.

Example

Transfer reported: Nov 13
Effective approval: Nov 16
Result: it falls outside the Q4 window.

Important: to withdraw capital, you need to request it. If no withdrawal is requested, the capital stays invested.

The 45 days are not counted from each deposit date.

The rule does not start a separate 45-day countdown for each deposit. Instead, the window opens at the beginning of every quarter.

You can invest throughout the year. The 45-day window determines at which quarterly close you can request a withdrawal of that capital.
