1How to request it
You can request it in any of these ways:
- In the APEX Systematic Investing app: Profile › Delete account. If you are still completing onboarding, from the onboarding menu. We ask for your password to confirm it is you.
- From the investor dashboard, without the app: sign in at inversor.apexinvest.global and choose Profile › Delete account.
- If you cannot sign in: write to privacy@apexinvest.global. To protect your information, we may ask for reasonable identity verification; writing from the email you registered with can make it easier.
2What happens next
We record your request and the APEX team reviews it. While it is under review, you can cancel it from the same place where you made it.
If you hold units or have an available balance, or pending deposits or withdrawals, we cannot complete the deletion of your account until those transactions are resolved. Requesting deletion does not mean an automatic or early redemption of your investment. We will email you the reason and the steps needed to continue, in line with the terms and periods set out in your contract. If you need help, you can write to support@apexinvest.global.
We will respond to account deletion requests and requests to exercise personal data rights within a maximum of 30 calendar days from receipt, unless the applicable law requires a shorter period.
We will email you the outcome of your request and, where applicable, its completion or the circumstances that prevent completing it.
3What data is deleted
Once completed, we permanently delete:
- Access to your account (user, password and two-step verification).
- Your profile photo and your notification preferences.
- Your assistant history, your notifications and the devices registered to receive them.
This is the full list of what the system deletes when the request is completed. The rest of the account data is kept as explained below.
4What data is kept and for how long
Because of legal, accounting and regulatory obligations, and under the fund agreement, we keep: the identity verification and anti-money-laundering review (KYC/AML) done with Sumsub; the contracts signed in DocuSign; deposits, withdrawals and their receipts; unit and closing records, and unit certificates; referrals and their commissions; the audit trail; any reports you sent about assistant answers; and the deletion request itself.
Certain identity, contact and transaction-linking data may be kept when needed to:
- Prove ownership and the history of the investments.
- Keep contracts, transactions, receipts and participation certificates valid and traceable.
- Comply with the applicable legal, accounting, regulatory and fraud-prevention obligations.
- Respond to claims, audits or requests from competent authorities.
Contact details and other personal information that are no longer needed for these purposes will be effectively deleted or anonymized, in line with the applicable retention periods.
We keep them for the periods explained in the Privacy Policy, under “Data retention”. Deleted data may also remain temporarily in backups until their retention periods are met.
